Christian has anxiety that keeps him from doing things his peers do, such as making / hanging out with friends, extracurricular activities, sports, etc. He would rather be in the safety of our home than anywhere else.
A few days ago, he told us his friend invited him to walk from school to the nearby market where a lot of the kids go after school to get snacks. He said he wanted to go, and we were shocked and excited! We figured that at some point today he would back out ... but he did not! (Jonathan showed up too "spy" on him ... Ha!)
