Christian's 2023 Award: Outstanding Achievement in Digital Media Arts

Oh. My. Goodness.  We are just soooo very proud of Christian!

We had been told he was getting an award for the 8th grade awards celebration, and we assumed it to be a "you're a nice, friendly student" kind of award.  When those awards were given out and Christian wasn't among the recipients, I thought a mistake had been made.

But ... a mistake was NOT made.  Wooohoo!!

An Unexpected Visit from a Fawn

This beautiful fawn was walking close to our house.  A neighbor and I were outside together and now sure what to do with this sweet baby who seemed brand new with no mama in site.  So naturally, the first thing I did was to take a photo. :)

As we debated what to do about the situation, it ran off.  We are hopeful that mama was nearby somewhere ... but we'll never know. 

I am just thrilled I got such a good picture of this beautiful baby!

On the way home from the Kite Festival, we stopped off at our very favorite spot to take in the view!  Heaven!

Morro Bay Kite Festival

Ever since moving to the Central Coast, we've wanted to attend the Morro Bay Kite Festival, but just haven't made it ... until this year!  We brought our small kits, eager to participate ... and discovered our kites were just child's play compared to some GINORMOUS kites - wow!! 

Ah ... I LOVE living just a few minutes away from the coast!  

April 30, 2023: Our 18 Year Anniversary

 

Here we are ... 18 years later!  We were fortunate to be at an event this month hosted by an awesome friend and neighbor who hired a photographer to capture family pics for all guests!  What a treat to showcase our 18 years of marriage! I just love this little family of ours!!
